Through the Scouts Canada program, the 21st Capilano Scouts group has set up a vocational program to allow youth (14+) to train and practice first aid skills. The North Shore Medvents was set up to accommodate the youth's interests and provide high-quality training. To give back to our community, we volunteer at community events. 

Through volunteering at events, our youth program can give back to the community. We have gained experience and train weekly to provide high-quality first aid that will cover any event.

A large part of our group's focus is on training. We train our group weekly and provide red-cross first aid courses. Our courses include Standard First Aid, Medical First Responder and Emergency Medical Responder. The North Shore MedVents always welcomes new recruits.  As a Medvent in the Scouts Canada Medical Venturer/Rover Program, you will get many opportunities to build your certifications and experiences.
